Privacy policy
Who this covers
This policy describes how Computer Modules Inc., also trading as DVEO, of 7950 Silverton Avenue, Suite 103, San Diego, California 92126, handles personal information connected with this website and with quotation requests, orders and support. It was last updated on 21 October 2026.
What this website collects on its own
Very little. The site is a set of static pages with no accounts, no payment and no tracking pixels of our own. The company that serves this website keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type and time) for security and performance purposes, and deletes them on its normal schedule. We do not run third party advertising scripts.
The quote list feature stores the products you add, and any quantities or details you type on the quote page, in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, or to anyone, until you press Send, which delivers the list and your details to our sales team by email through our email delivery provider, or Copy as text, which puts the list on your clipboard. We keep a copy of each request you send this way on our web server so that none is lost. Clearing your browser data removes it.
What we collect when you contact us
When you email or call us about a quotation, an order or support, we keep what you give us: your name, company, role, email address, phone number, delivery and deployment addresses, and the content of the correspondence. For data center GPUs we also collect end user and end use details because NVIDIA end user registration and US export regulations require them; see the export compliance page.
How we use it
We use this information to prepare quotations, process orders, arrange shipping and customs clearance, register equipment with the manufacturer where required, screen transactions against US restricted party lists as the law requires, provide warranty and RMA support, and keep the accounting and compliance records we are obliged to keep. We may send you product updates relevant to equipment you have bought or asked about; every such message has an unsubscribe link and we stop on request.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to do the work: manufacturers and distributors for registration, warranty and allocation; carriers and our customs broker for delivery; leasing partners when you ask for a lease quotation; and professional advisers and authorities where the law requires. Each of these receives only what its part of the job needs.
How long we keep it
Quotation correspondence is kept for three years from the last contact. Order, export and registration records are kept for at least five years after the transaction, which is the period US export regulations require, and longer where tax rules demand it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale, and we honor those requests for everyone regardless of where they live. Email sales@computermodules.com or write to the address above. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Correspondence and records are held on access controlled systems with encryption in transit and at rest. Only staff who need the information for quotations, orders, shipping or compliance can see it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the page for 30 days.
