Overview

The compact developer system is for engineers who want a real Blackwell GPU on their desk without the size, noise and power draw of a full workstation. RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell provides 32 GB of GDDR7 with ECC and FP4 support at only 200 W, which handles 7B to 14B parameter models in full precision, larger quantized models, and all mainstream vision, speech and tabular work.

The chassis is a 20 liter class tower that fits beside a monitor, runs from any outlet and stays quiet under load. The CPU is a workstation class Threadripper PRO or Xeon 6 with 16 to 32 cores, memory runs from 64 GB to 512 GB with ECC, and the GPU drives four DisplayPort 2.1 monitors for visualization.

It pairs well with a shared cluster: develop and debug locally, then submit to the servers with the same containers. We deliver it imaged with drivers and CUDA, burned in and with an acceptance report, and we can ship it in volume for engineering teams that standardize on one developer build.

Use cases

  • Local model development
  • Computer vision and speech work
  • Data science and notebooks
  • CAD and visualization
  • Developer standard build

Compare it with the next class up or down

The nearest classes we quote are the AI developer workstation, 1 to 2 GPUs and the Single GPU 1U edge inference server. If neither is quite right, tell us the workload and we specify the system between them.
