- Decodes MPEG-2 tables
- Decodes MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and H.264 video in thumbnail format
- Records transport streams to a disk file
- Automatic transport stream recording and export for unattended operation
- Records an individual program to a disk file with PAT/PMT regeneration
- PID usage graph with percentage displays
- PID graph is color coded to indicate unscrambled and scrambled PIDs
- Counts continuity and TEI errors on mux and PID-by-PID basis
- Records PIDs from a mux either as separate files or combined in their received order
- Variable resolution real-time or average charting
- Indicates CC/DTVCC streams for ATSC streams
- TCP/IP based remote control server to allow TSReader to be operated remotely by other software
- EPG grid for ATSC networks
- Runs on Windows 2000 or Windows XP
- Optional mechanical relay bypass on power failure
